Wildflower Resource Network is a non-profit program which seeks to provide basic supports and education to professionals on a grassroots level to eliminate the isolation and abuse encountered by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) and questioning youth. Wildflower is centrally located in Indiana, but serves professionals throughout the United States!
The efforts of Wildflower are primarily directed to professionals,
including but not limited to: social workers, educators, youth service
case managers, nurses, physicians, psychologists, therapists, probation
officers, and other youth serving professionals. This site has
been designed to offer a one-stop resource for professionals seeking
information about how to most effectively support LGBT youth. Information
on this site is also helpful for family members, friends, and gay youth
who are in search of accurate, objective information about homosexuality.
This web site has been created to offer a one-stop resource for
professionals who are committed to the care and safety of all youth,
including gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered young persons.
