WILDFLOWER Support Group
The Goal of this group is to provide a safe space for gay,
lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and questioning (GLBTQ)
youth and their supportive peers (under age 21) to share unconditional
suport, education, and social activities without the fear of rejection,
abuse or ortherwise harmful experiences.
DESCRIPTION
Wildflower is a professionally-trained, volunteer-run, group of youth
(under age 21) who meet weekly to discuss problems, share successes,
and otherwise socialize in a safe environment. To find out about Wildflower

FACILITATIOR INFORMAITON,
The group is faciliated by Michele O'Marea who has her Masters degree in Social Work
and Carrie Anne Fisher who has her Master's Degree in Nursing, making her a Nurse
Practitioner. Combined these faciliators bring many years of experience and knowlege to
their work with gay and lesbian young people. All volunteers affilated with Wildflower have been
personally trained by one or both of these faciliators.
